Shomen uchi ... Forehead chop.

Ikkajo osae...  A type of hold to prevent opponent moving.

Case (1)...Chop from "Shite"

Katate mochi Shihonage (1)

Katate mochi ... To grab the opponent's wrist with one hand. 

Shihonage...  Name of the method used to hold and throw.

Case (1).... You are pulled by the opponent.

[Year 3-6 class] Alternative class for 2nd February

   **About last week's home-work**
  Some of you mentioned that you couldn't see the video as it's on Youtube. I've modified the Members site and I'm going to put a new video for the move called Shomen uchi ikkajo osae(1) that we did today. Please check once more and practice how to tie obi during vacation. And if there still be problems regarding the video, let me know.

• You shouldn't twist your body

• You should always straighten your back.

• Rules of dojo
• When you come to dojo, you shouldn't forget to bow and greeting. This is an important part of Aikido culture.
